Very long story shortened, my tcMP needs a new power supply. The prices I have seen are higher than I expected. Anyone have a suggestion for a decently priced power supply and where to buy?

Thanks

I purchased a power supply a while back because I thought a new one could maybe solve a noise problem. Sadly it didn't fix anything but it's working like it should...

I bought mine from China. At that time I think there were three sellers who sold the power supplies. I think one of them was this seller:

I live in Denmark and therefor the final price was 121EUR after VAT and import fee. To me that is by no means expensive and I simply tried to solve a noise problem :)

Could you tell me more? Like where are these LED lights? Where is the diagnostic button? Where do I put the magnet?
Thanks

I found all the answers to my questions. When the diag button is pushed, only lights 2 and 5 lite up, all the others are off. In addition, when the power button is pushed, the white lights on the IO rear panel, the ones surrounding all the ports, goes on for about 15 seconds then they turn off.

It gives me the willy's to think about giving my CC number to a company based in China.

I had the same concerns about Aliexpress the first time I used it, but my experience has been good.

For my first few purchases, I used a prepaid Visa card that I only load with enough money to pay for what I'm ordering. It otherwise sits in a drawer waiting for my next wary purchase.

Don't. Use privacy.com to generate a one time virtual number with a euro limit. No charge for a limited number of virtual numbers. Hopefully the website is available there.

If anybody cares. My local Apple Premier partner store had some used refurbished tcMP's for sale and I got one for $800. More than a new P/S obviously but simpler in execution. It's now running with 32G of ram and purring like a kitten. Will keep the old one for spare parts if they are ever needed.
