I've been wanting to re-furnish my room but I want to put alot of thought into it. I'm looking for a program where I could sketch ideas and layouts for my room. I don't have a tablet so something mouse friendly would help, also the program doesnt have to be free.

Definitely not cheap, but if you have a Windows box, you can use the free edition. Or you can try a trial of the full edition.

Okay, I heard some talk about this app. I'll give this a try and post what I can come up with. Whats the learning curve on this app?

It is very simple. Once you get used to the different tools, and how to build 3D structures from 2D figures, you can do most things.

There are some advanced tools which I don't understand but are not really necessary unless you need to be very accurate.
