What is a great app for receipt management? This will be for personal use to archive receipt backups and make it easy to find them. Photograph with phone...add details....ideally synced to cloud to access off phone. I've tried options like shoebox but that seems more geared to business users with tracking reimbursements and mileage--things I don't need. Not too keen on paying a monthly fee like that one has, so I feel there must be a better option.

Turboscan? It's great at capturing documents of any size, righting and cropping them, and allowing you to name and then search them. It also has iClould backup. Just use a naming scheme that includes what you'd want to search for.
You can use IFTTT to take photos and save them to a preset folder in Dropbox or google drive. You won't be able to do any sort of annotation to my knowledge, but the files will be available in your cloud storage.
