I'm looking to have a website built, front end and back. I can do a bunch of it myself but it would take me a while. So I'm looking to have a individual or small business do it. I've seen Chicowebesign on here but are there any others who might be interested? I am not ruling out Chico, I haven't even spoken to him yet. I just want to see if there are others out there I should contact in addition to him. I won't discuss specifics here but some things I'll be looking for:
PHP5 based
I'm comfortable with php/mysql so you'd have to have a very good reason for using something else
site is heavily user driven.
your code would have be able to withstand the worst a user could throw at it.
code is easily modifable
The code will be maintained by my people and the code will be used for other projects of ours so the code must have flexiblity.
Stats are key
A back end interface that is able to calculate and display lots of info about what the users have inputted is a must.
That's just a tidbit of the criteria.
If you are interested either PM me or post in this thread. I figured I'd give the mac rumors first shot and help out fellow mac users
Also if things work out there is def more work there for you. My company has a lot of ideas in the pipeline.
Oh and lastly, I have no problem seperating the back end from the design in. If there is someone who only wants to design but fears php, I'm fine with that as long as I can find someone who can do a back end given no real design.
