Soo yeah yesterday in the morning, i was doin dishes and the phone was in my pocket.. Well whilst Scrubbing out a pan i hit the pan into the water hard enough to cause t to splash on me and my iphone paid the ultimate price....

Well the phone never Shut down, it satyed on the main sceen the while time, i hit the screen it started to flash. Well after the flashing the Touch screen no longer worked...

The Phone accepts incoming calls, It accepts text Messages, The speakers work For my Ringers still play when i recieve messages and When i get a call, But the Touch Screen Does not Work...

Any Ideas?

The dude at the Cingular Store Told me that the extended care package would cover everything, lil did i know he lied, and water damage isnt one of them.

What Do i do?

Turn off the phone. Soak it in a bowl of rice for DAYS.

Wait a long time, use a cheap replacement phone with your iPhone sim car.

After you have waited a couple weeks, take it to the genius bar. They may or may not replace it.

This worked for my teacher.
