Need advice for no boot on iMac

Hello to forum.

My gpu is defective. I can turn on iMac without gpu and display, but when I reassembly the gpu logic board from one led goes to 0 led when I push the power button. Without gpu I listen chime sound etc.

Strange issue to me. Can a defective, burnt gpu deny to iMac to start?
Please help. Thanks
