I need advice on helping my sister choose a home media solution for her family.

The needs are:

-Wifi built in
-mac friendly
-netflix compatible
-able to browse family photos

Apple TV seems ideal and it offers music and itunes rentals, however, I have one concern that ATV2 requires a strong host computer (and good WIFI). My sister only has a G4 powerbook. Is an ATV2 a bad idea?

If so, any other ideas?

WD media centers don't do netflix and not WIFI out of the box.
Boxee is interesting but has no local storage although you can add it.

Are there any other media devices with netflix compatibility and will allow here to browse or upload photos?

Thanks for the tips.

I would get a boxes box meets all your requirments and can still browse the powerbook for photos and videos or you can put them all on an SD card USB drive or external hard drive. Netflix over wifi will work fine plus there are thousands of other apps to choose from. Flicker may be a good option for online storage and use their app to view pictures on the boxes box.
