The Great White North Eh
Hi all,
OK first off, if it could run osx, it would be running it....
I have a celeron 500
with 32mb ram:eek:
I want to put on an os that will actually run. I don't really care too much about what type it is but it should be a gui and work decent. It has win2k right now but barely runs (used to have more ram in it prior). I just want something i can throw on there so I can sell it at a garage sale next weekend.
Any ideas? I'm thinking some form of linux but which one? Or do I try to find windows 3.11:p ?

Does DSL have things like Windows compatible networking (and Mac) along with a Firewall built in?

Get 256 megs of RAM installed and run suse linux. It's very very resource efficient. It can run entirely off ram...

I pulled the ram out because as I said, I am selling it at a garage sale, no use to me to upgrade it.

well, then why even put an operating system on it? or put something on if the customer asks for it
