Apologies if this was recently posted and I missed it, but:
I have a brand new Macbook at home with me-- I used the setup assistant to migrate all my settings from my iBook. I was able to connect to my home wireless network-- but neither of my browsers (safari, firefox) can load any content. Firefox was able to load one or two sites, but 'quit unexpectedly' shortly thereafter.
I am unable to access the iTunes store, software update, or send bug reports to Apple!
Comcast is my IP, using the motorola surfboard modem, connected to a netgear wgt624v.3. My iBook and my mac mini are still able to connect (which is how I am writing this post!), and as far as I can tell, the settings on my macbook are exactly the same as on my iBook-- only it won't connect to the internet.
When I use network diagnostics, it tells me that it appears that I am connected normally.
I'm bummed! Thanks in advance if anyone has any advice!
