I hope this doesn't constitute spam, but here goes:

I'm a regular around here, and I'm also a web designer (among other things). Basically I'm looking to build up my portfolio a bit (I've been away from the game for some time, so it's quite outdated).

Anyway, as most app developers probably know your app's icon counts for quite a bit. Most iPhone owners want apps with nice, shiny icons. App sales seem to reflect that (from what I've seen, anyway). It's also nice to have an icon that reflects the countless hours of blood, sweat, and tears (ok, maybe not blood) that you've put into your app.

That being said, I'm looking for an app developer that a) needs a sweet looking app icon and b) can convince me that their app is the best and that I should work for free! If you think that you can meet these criteria, PM me or respond in this thread!

I need an icon, but I have the opposite problem. I have a couple decent, but not great, apps, and am looking for an icon designer who knows how to create icons so outstanding and polished that they will catch Apple's attention and make them want to feature my apps. (Two of my competitors were so featured, and I think my apps are just as good, if not better.)

A portfolio including icons that have already been featured in the App store, retail store banners, or even Apple's TV commercials would be great. That kind of artistic eye would be worth paying $$$ for.

Put up a web page, and developers will find you.

Well I can't promise I'll get you on the featured list (but if I were a betting man I'd say I could make an icon as good as your competitors if not better); I'm quite a capable designer, so hit me up with a PM and maybe you'll be the dev that's selected. :)

As far as my own work, I typically do local graphics/web design work, and I do have a portfolio, it's just that our new website isn't live yet (I work at Univox Designs). I'm just trying to branch out, and iProRings (latest project I did) whet my appetite as far as iPhone related development is concerned.

I've already got a couple PMs, so please guys keep sending me requests so I can fairly select the "winner" and then get to work!

I hope you choose me :)

I feel strangly like i'm a competitor in a beauty pagent! :(;)
