Hi,

I'm looking for a recommendation for an app that I can throw things into on my Mac, and have a corresponding app on my iPhone.

I know Yojimbo and Shovebox exist. I don't like Yojimbo's UI, and know there's not an iPhone app. Shovebox does have an iPhone app, but it's nasty.

Is there another solution I have missed. I've recently started using Pinboard.in to store links. There are no iPhone app clients for it yet, although Delibar are announcing an iPhone app.

Anyone else encountered this?

You need Evernote

1 web based version
2 desktop version
3 iphone version
4 iPad version
5 You can store images, graphics, audio, all kinds of stuff
6 on the iPhone, you can do text, voice, photo notes in app.
7 easy to organize with keywords and notebooks
8 they update CONSTANTLY
9 Great interface
10 the icon is cool

You can subscribe to the service (cloud based) for free. The more secure premium version is well worth it.

+1, but you forgot a big reason: Can synchronize between iPhone, iPad, PC, & Mac. (However, the iPhone/iPad sync is a bit kludgy as it's really a table-of-contents sync and needs wifi/EDGE/3G to access the full document, unless you explicitly mark the document for full download to the iPhone/iPad by starring it.)
