I am running iOS 10 and I need a simple, lightweight, nothing fancy, that I can open or extract ZIP files locally on my iPhone without having to uploaded in the cloud.

Thanks!

I downloaded an app named iZip. Seems to work, no cloud needed, but, have not really ever used it: just once to test that it does work.

Can iZip do AES-256 encryption?
Decrypting or encrypting?

iZip's website:
  • Open and extract files from ZIP format, including password protected and AES encrypted ZIP files.
  • Open and extract many other compressed file formats: RAR, 7Z, ZIPX, TAR, GZIP.
Per my earlier post re: testing it: it did work for 7Z format, as all my encrypted zip files are in this format.
