Help, please! I know I ask a lot of questions, and here I am again, hoping you all are still being patient with me.

I have spent the last three hours — no exaggeration — trying to find the answer to my question or any sort of users manual, whichever comes first. But Ihave foundnothing!

I am using ApplePages on my iPad, and I’m lost!

I cannot figure out how to save files, other than to close it out. However, this procedure does not actually save the file. What it does is duplicate the file, so I’ll have File, File2, File3, File4, etc.

I have been unable to find any command on the screen which simply saves my files. I can’t find any preferentces option, and I can’t find a users guide or manual.

Any and all help you can offer will be hugely appreciated!

Yep, you are doing it wrong.

The iPad saves your file for you. Pretty much after every 'keystroke'. No need to create triplicates. iPad has one local copy, iCloud, if turned on, has the backup. It can be accessed from anywhere and on any machine in the world. Create a pages file on your iPad. Log in to iCloud with a Chromebook, click on Pages, edit file using a chrome book, or a windows computer, or linux, or raspberry pi. Oh yeah, you can edit with a mac as well, it is even more seamless that way.

Is there something else you are trying to accomplish?
