Ill.
Just picked up a Mini and need an inexpensive 19 or 20" monitor hopefully under $200. I have seen this Hanns g brand for $129 with rebate after rebate and it looks good buy I hate waiting for those silly rebates. Anyone seen andthing better out there. I did view the Hanns in Office max and was surprised how clean the image was. Any suggestions please help
Thanks

In my experience, you can find the best deals by looking through flyers and ads from local tech/office shops. Usually you can find older displays from a a vendor who might sound a bit obscure has something on sale. Keep in mind you are looking for a 20 inch monitor for under $200, so there might be a little waiting involved.

The Dell 19" LCD (non "UltraBrite" model) can be had for about that if you either get a good coupon/sale or look on eBay.

I received the rebates in less than 10 days using the "Paypal" option.

ebay would be your best bet. I can find lots of monitors for around 230ish that are 19" and 19" widescreen, but nothing that is really around 200. If you look around ebay, look at stuff like: dell, viewsonic, samsung, LG (getting cheaper) , acer is ok, but the other ones would be better off, and somewhat around your price range.

if you've picked upa mini, take a look at the benq fp93v... looks great, made for mac mini. in europe it is in your price range, although i do not know what the price for it is in us$

Yeah I've been thinking about picking up a mini as well, however the monitor just kills the cheapness of it. If there is a good deal, maybe I'll think about one:D
