Hello. Thank you for taking the time to read this and assist.

I cannot use my ethernet port on my iMac. Has anyone else had this issue or have any ideas on how to fix? I don't know where to go. I have tried to manually add one and it's not even an option. I ran diagnostics in recovery mode and it does not show any issues pending. I am trying to figure this out and I am getting nowhere.

Thank you in advance,

Jason

Does the Ethernet adapter exist?

It is from a 2019 iMac, but yours should be very similar.

If not, you have a hardware fault.

Not an answer to your question but please obscure the serial number in you pictures as this could be used for a hackintosh. Not security issue for you but is not a good idea to post this information on an open forum

There is nothing wrong with hackintosh , i use one but it is generally accepted it’s not best practice to post your serial number online. Just a friendly warning your choice in the end.

Neither am I! I was forgetting that you had the T2 chip. But it looks odd to me: USB controller, 480 Mb/s and en3. Do you have a USB hub connected which has an ethernet port (even though not connected)?

You need a reply from someone with a 2020 iMac.

I did at one point but I don't use it now.

Tried everything to no avail. Is there a way to delete drivers and manually reinstall them?

Hi.
The LED on the router port where the iMac is connected, lights up? If not, and the cable is fine, then you have a hardware issue.

Try to boot in recovery mode (option + d at startup), when the 4 items menu load, turn OFF the WiFi on the top right corner and see if you have internet (click on Get Help Online menu option).
If not, then you probably have a hardware issue.

Best option:
