Hi,

So I figured out how to ssh my iPhone with cyberduck and I found the folder that contains the camera roll photos. I wanted to add my jpg photos to that folder but when I added them there was no thumbnail picture so I couldn't see which photo was which. So after much research I found out that I need a .thm file for each .jpg. So after I made a copy of each picture and changed the file extention to .thm I ran into my problem. On my phone the pictures take at least a minute to load and takes for ever to scroll through. Like it keeps freezing. When I take pictures and it's automatically placed into the camera roll folder I don't have this problem. Am I doing something wrong? Could it be the program, cybersuck? Please help

Thank you in advanced,

Anthony

Just a guess...

...but the problem seems to be that your thumbnail file is the same size as the original file, so when you scroll, the phone has to load the full version of each picture.

Try saving a smaller/lighter version of each picture as the .thm file and you should be good to go.

I'm trying to do the opposite and remove pictures from the camera roll using SSH. Does anyone know the path where the camera roll is located in the file structure?
