So let me list what I have done so far before i begin

- Got the Pangu App on my iOS 9.3.1 iPhone 5s
- Got Cydia working and started downloading tweaks
- Downloaded a bad Zeppelin file
- Cydia would open then close right away
- I reset my phone and redownloaded the jailbreak
- After reset, Barrel and all of the other tweaks with icons stayed on my springboard
- Re-Jailbroke and now whenever I open Cydia it says in red text "Could not open file /var/lib/dpkg/status - open (2:No such file or directory)"

I cannot edit or add any sources and the sources I have are the stock ones the jailbreak comes with. None of the previous tweaks I have downloaded show up. I honestly don't know what to do

Please help, it'd be so great if it would be fast

You can try entering cydia:// in the Safari URL bar to access Cydia.

If that doesn't work, open iFile on your computer while your iPhone is plugged in and navigate to /var/lib/dpkg. If there is a status-old file, make a copy of that and rename it status.

Same thing happened to me but I can't really don't much about it since I can't do anything about it. I need help

Is this the only solution right now ?

Using the iPhone's reset is a bad thing to do when you're jailbroken. It will usually mess up your iPhone. You should always use iTune's restore option if you want to remove the jailbreak/start new.

If you still want to jailbroken, I highly recommend you restore to iOS 9.3.3 before apple stops signing the firmware! (iOS 9.3.4 has been released)

You will need to download the 9.3.3 ipsw for your device, enter DFU mode, and hold shift (or option on the mac) and click restore, then select the 9.3.3 ipsw to get to iOS 9.3.3

Afterwards, you can proceed with using cydia impactor to install the pangu ipa app and jailbreak your device
