NEED HELP! ATV will not show up in device list anymore.

I just got my ATV. Hooked it up, everything worked perfectly, left it syncing all night long and got everything i had on there. Then for some reason. I tried buying a tv episode on the ATV and it worked but was going pretty slow so i went on the computer and went to the available downloads list and started downloading it there. For whatever reason that did something. Now my itunes will no longer reconize it. I have done all the requested things in the apple forums and double checked pretty much every setting. I dont want to lose all my media that I already synced. Can anyone help ?

This may not apply in your case, but I've found that going into the AppleTV menus and reconnecting to the network has worked for me when my AppleTV wouldn't show up in iTunes as a Device.

yeah tried that. It's a strange deal
