I'm looking to buy the 3GS Apple iphone with 32GB but am having a hard time trying to differentiate who I should buy from. I'd like to get an unlocked one so I don't have to sign up for a plan but I'd like to get the genuine one. Found some on Craigslist but I believe alot of the sellers there are scams and I may not get my phone after payment. I don't wanna buy from Ebay as well as I can't tell which are genuine. When I send an email to enquire, they all tell me their phone is the genuine Apple iphone. How can I be sure? Has anyone heard of or bought from the website shluxe.com?? The company's name is "Prices Deluxe" and claims to be based in the U.K, and are selling the 3GS 32GB APPLE i-phone for US$400. Can somebody tell me if they can be trusted?? Please help, anyone??

Any eBay iPhone which you don't pay for thru PayPal (like they want a Money Order or wire the cash) is a rip-off.
Only buy if you can use paypal and make sure and ask the seller that the phone is FACTORY unlocked, not software unlocked and save the email question and response.

I can sell my used 32gb 3gs for more then $400 they are going for 600+ on Ebay so why wouldn't just sell them there! also last i checked it was Iphone not I-phone. if doing craigslist go with somebody local $& meet them someplace local. and factory unlocked phones are going for $900 plus us

i buy a lot of iphones off craigslist and ebay. always ask for a serial number in both cases and then check that serial number thru apple iphone warranty. on ebay always pay thru paypal either with your account or a credit card. on craigslist make sure you meet in a public place and the serial number they originally gave you write down and bring it with you and check to make sure they match up.
craigslist has more fake phones then any other place so if they do not give you a serial number than do not buy it
