NEED HELP - Considering buying a 2019 15" MacBook Pro. Budgeting $2,500.00 - $2,700.00?

What would be the best machine for spending between $2,500.00 and $2,700.00? No specific discipline in how the machine will be used. Biggest bang for the buck.

Or should I go in a completely different direction?

MacBook Air
MacBook Pro 13"
MacBook Pro 16"

Please help me get the absolutely best machine for the amount of money I have budgeted.

Cheers and enjoy your holidays!

did you do some research?
your question is too broad to expect a valuable answer without putting hours in research.

my advice, buy a 16" refurb or edu discount if you are admissible

I have done a little, but to be perfectly honest I am not as well versed as I once was and time has been very limited to dedicate to "putting hours in research". It isn't because I am lazy. I always have been able to do the research in the past, it's having to relocate 2 times halfway across the country to care for our aging parents that did not afford me the opportunity to do so. I realize that I was throwing out a large net without a specific use case. With all of the options as it relates to cores, GPU, memory, etc., etc. and not completely understanding some of it at times I was looking for some guidance and thought I would ask hoping there might just be a sweet spot.

i'm not sure the concept of "best bang" applies well to laptops
Usually in laptops, money is directly proportional to quality

You can get best bang in Apple world with refurb or edu discount as stated

Apple no longer sells new 15" MBPs. They do have new 13" and 16" MBPs. Take a look at the Apple refurbished MBPs:

I have bought a couple of refurbished Macs from Apple over the years and I've had great luck. They look like new.

The new 16" MBPs are popular and it would be the one I would choose.

Definitely a 16". The keyboard is much, much better and - praise the Tim - a separate Esc key.
