When I recently restored my new iPhone 5 from backup, the WeatherIcon badge was present on the Weather app, even prior to the iPhone being jailbroken. The temp badge is stuck on 49 degrees (F) and never changes, otherwise it would nice to have.

Does anyone know where this badge png file is located? I would like to be able to delete it.
Hopefully WeatherIcon will be updated to work on IOS 6, but in the meantime I'd like to get rid of it.

Did a bit of searching, and it turns out there are a few apps on Cydia for removing icon badges. The one that actually worked is called "Badges".
Basically just install the app, click on any app to them all wiggling, then triple-tap the icon, and a banner comes up asking to confirm. It took several attempts to get the banner to come up, so keep trying if it doesn't work right away.

I'm guessing lots of people who had WeatherIcon installed on IOS 5 (or earlier) with the "show badge" option checked would have the badge saved in the backup and transferred to a new phone's weather app icon (and you can't reinstall WeatherIcon on IOS 6 to remove the badge as on earlier versions, as it just crashes the springboard and goes to safe-mode). Hope this helps someone else!
