Hi All,

I need help in knowing if two LG Ultrafine 21.5 inch monitors can be used as dual monitors for the M1 Mac Mini. I am considering buying two of them for $600 but am hesitant because I don’t know if they are compatible for a dual monitor setup. Help and information from all of you smarter people would be greatly appreciated!.

No by default as they use usb C, you can connect one of them, for the other you will need an adapter to convert hdmi and usb to output as usb c.

like this one:

There are cheaper cables by the way.

I don't believe there is any easy way for you to reliably get a 4K signal with a reasonable refresh rate on both displays. The only thing I could think of would potentially be a DisplayLink 4K adapter with a DispalyPort out connected to the display with a bidirectional USB-C <--> DisplayPort cable. That's a hot mess of a solution given you'd spend quite a bit on equipment that might or might not give you the results you want.
