Hi All,

I just got my 32G 3GS 2 days ago, so very new to it.

I had tried to jailbreak my 3.1.2 using blackra1n.
I have downloaded the software to my mac and install via itune.
But the thing hanged after reboot. It stay at the screen where there a pic of the USB to phone.

I tired to rebook it again by holding the Alt + power for 10 sec.
But the same screen (Usb + phone) appeared again with nothing happened.

Pls advice... I want to jb it fast :)

Thanks !!!!

I would try restoring in Itunes.

Then click on "Controls" and then "Eject Iphone".

Close Itunes.

Run Blackra1n and it should work.

had similar issues as you did with Ipod Touch 3g.

Thanks for the advice guys.
Seem like there nothing can done to the new gen iPhone till someone came up with something to break the iboot....

Well, you can continue to use your phone with a tethered jailbreak or you can restore to the official firmware. It's not like you're permanently stuck at the boot screen.

i jailbroke mine using blackrain but i ran the black rain program on my pc not my mac. there is a nerdy kid on youtube "tysiphonehelp" his videos were very useful to me while jailbreaking you can try those.
