I am not well versed in older iPods so sorry if this is an elementary subject. A co-worker is selling her iPod and I dont know what generation it is. Here is the description.

-4GB
-Black and white screen
-Silver in color
-dock connector
-headphone port has that extra port right next to it
-its all kind of fat. Almost twice as thick as my 5g video.

I think its a mini, but not sure what generation it is.

Any thoughts? I could take a photo of it and upload later if needed.

It's a mini.

that looks about right. Were there different generations of the mini or was there only one? Its actually great condition for its age, which im guessing is 2-3 years old?

thanks for the help!
