My wife dropped her 2g 8gb iphone. It will not turn on at all. Itunes does not recognize it at all. When I put it on the charger it only gets warm. Where do I start...I was thinking it needs a digitizer and screen, but did not want to waste money on it and its not that. Any suggestions?????

If it doesn't turn on at all and is not recognized by iTunes, it's more than the screen. More likely the logic board.
I agree with the above poster - just list it on eBay as a for parts unit. You'll probably get at least $100 for it and then you can buy a refurbished 8GB 3G.
