I bought this RAM.

I tried to installing it. Are you supposed to push it in until it clicks or something?
I thought you just drop it in, but then it's loose and is a bit taller (sticks out) compared to the two RAMs already in the iMac. I gave a moderate push downward to see if it clicks, but it didn't.
Should I try harder?

Nevermind, I installed it (it required quite a push and there was no click sound to it)

The RAM must be inserted in the proper alignment. The notch on the bottom of the RAM modules should be on the left side.

Some force is required to properly seat the RAM but do make sure it is properly aligned first. You should feel a slight click when it is fully and properly seated.

Also note that on first boot with a new RAM configuration it is common to have a black screen for up to one minute as the machine initializes.

The click is more of a feeling than a sound. Anyway, good to hear you got it working.
