I hope that this is the right place to post this.

I just tried to upgrade iTunes to 10.7

When installing, it came up with an error at the end that iTunes was not installed properly.

I clicked 'finish' on the install dialog and received an error:

iTunes was not instlled correctly. Please re-install iTunes.
Error 7 (Windows Error 5)

I uninstalled iTunes through the Windows control panel, re-downloaded iTunes and re-installed. I did not get an error when re- installing, but received the same error when attempting to start.

Apple website indicated that I needed to upgrade .Net framework, so I downloaded and istalled with no issue.

Removed iTunes throught the iTunes installer and re-instlled with no error.

Still getting Error7 (Windows Error 5) when attempting to start iTunes. Anyone else encounter this? Advice?

Update: Resolved by uninstalling all Apple components with Revo Uninstaller Pro (Free)
