My sister is coming home from college for the weekend, and I've been telling her that I would jailbreak her phone for her when she came home. I did my own 3gs the day the jailbreak came out, so I've been progressing all along, and currently have my own JB'd at 3.1.2. I had thought she would be home before 3.1 came out, but no luck on that. Long story short, I know how to jailbreak from 3.0 to 3.1.2, but I'm not sure if there is anything different that I need to do in order to maintain the old unlockable baseband, or if that is even possible at this point.
Is it still possible to extract the 3.0 SHSH? I don't think it's doable via Saurik's site, since I'll have to jailbreak just to get to Cydia on the phone, but is it maybe possible to extract it another way?
