Need Help playing Blu-Ray with VLC media player on M1 Mini

Aloha,

I have searched many times, both here and www, and I'm still confused.

I've downloaded and installed the most recent version of VLC media player, and I've downloaded the latest release of libaacs from the VLC web site. But when I unzipped the libaacs download, it just created a folder in my downloads, with no further prompt?

I'm using a new PIONEER BDR-XS07S External Blu-Ray Drive. I have a feeling I'll be embarrassed that I can't figure this out, but oh well.

You could install MakeMKV and use its integration option to play Blu's via VLC - https://www.makemkv.com/libmmbd/

You can also use the app to make rips of your discs as well.
