So i tried out the El capitan beta and it was a little too buggy for me. I reverted back to yosemite with no problems from a time machine backup. I am now selling my mac and trying to restore it. I erased the SSD and clicked install OS X and the only option i get is El Capitan... I haven't used El Capitan in a while. Why is that my only option when I'm currently using Yosemite?

I really appreciate any help as I'm going to be selling my Macbook Pro in a few hours and don't want beta software on it.

(Im currently reinstalling my time machine backup on my macbook pro and creating a boot disc for yosemite on my GFs mac. Im not sure if this is going to work though)

I think if you use internet recovery and delete / recreate the main partition that will fix it. Its not fast but I think it will get the job done. Others may have better options.
