My husband/soulmate passed away unexpectedly a few weeks ago. His phone is an iphone 6s. I want to save everything that I possibly can from his phone on my hard drive: photos, videos, voice recordings, text messages. I connected the phone to my PC and I was able to copy the entire file with photos and videos, but I cannot find the Voice recording or Text messages. How can I get those saved? I'm going to have Verizon transfer my service (from my Moto X) over to his iphone, then I am going to transfer my Moto X over to my stepson. So, both my current phone and my husband's phone will we wiped during the transfer and no longer have a record of all of our text messages. Please help!

So sorry to hear

There are downloadable apps that can save text messages but I don't know to what extent. Apple I don't believe would intervene at all sadly.

Okay, I found an app called Touch Copy and it did the trick. I saved all of our text messages.

I am sorry for your loss. I hope the priceless items you get off his phone bring you and your family some smiles. God bless.
