Hi everyone out their on MacRumors and thank you in advance if you comment to help me out, I'm looking to make a huge switch with my phone and and computers.
1.first up is that I'm thinking of making the switch from iPhone to android and my phone of choice is the galaxy s6 edge I liked and android played around with android and also have a LG G3 that I got from a buddy trying to use it as a daily driver before April 11th when the s6 comes out to see if I truly like android but somethings I miss and hate and wondering if you guys have any solution or should I stick with and iPhone. So the things that I like about android is the fact that you can basically almost do what ever you want with it without having to jailbreak or root the thing and what I mean about that is old emulators GBA/Snes/Gameboy/PPSSPP, third party keyboard seem to work better, notification led light is awesome and once setup for different colors for different apps I know what I was notified on before unlocking the phone galaxy s6 camera looks to be the best and it has things that I would need like three apps for on iOS to perform selective photos/camera plus separate exposures and focus/and photo retouch to remove unwanted objects(photo bombs) it just built in to the camera, which camera phone tech is something I'm really into because I have two 5 month old twins that I take tons of photos. Then theirs the always listening for voice commands, list goes on. But the things that are keeping me form making the full switch is my mac/iPad integration iCloud photo when I delete a photo or edit a photo its just synced with my phone/iPad/and mac. Airdrop is another thing just started using about a month ago and man I can't get enough I'm constantly Airdropping things from computer to my phone,iPad or other family members iPhone and when sending a bunch of photos at one time its quick. iMessage with some of my friends and wife if I'm on my computer texting from it instead of picking up my phone is awesome. and the last thing is photo and video apps sure most of them are on android but their are a handful that are missing that I really like and use union/fused/wordswag/pathon/filterstorm/mextures/8mm/filmic pro now a part of me says if I have and keep an iPad just to get those photo editing apps my iPad and take the photo using the Samsung galaxy s6 but something tells me that if I send the photo to the iPad wireless the image will get compressed. So help should I stay with iPhone and go with 6 or even the 6+ for better photos or go with the Samsung galaxy s6 based of what I stated earlier.
2.my lasting is looking for a portable mac do do photo/video editing adobe premiere and photoshop starting to learn it and doing some cool things and i also want do Xcode because i would like to learn to make mobile applications
was thinking about the new macbook pro but from what i can gather the mac book pro 13 with retina would be better.
