Good day, I really really need help here to recover my files from the NTFS partition on my machine from my windows installation suddenly won't boot. I switched to OSX to check the NTFS partiton labled "Untitled" and it doesn't display the files and folders inside like it normally does. I also checked the partition info:

Name : Untitled
Type : Volume

Disk Identifier : disk0s3
Mount Point : /Volumes/Untitled
File System : Windows NT Filesystem
Connection Bus : SATA
Partition Type : Microsoft Basic Data
Device Tree : /PCI0@0/SATA@1F,2/@0:3
Writable : No
Capacity : 60.6 GB (65,031,782,400 Bytes)
Free Space : 19.7 GB (21,169,717,248 Bytes)
Used : 40.8 GB (43,862,061,056 Bytes)
Number of Files : 84,336
Number of Folders : 0
Owners Enabled : No
Can Turn Owners Off : No
Can Be Formatted : No
Bootable : No
Supports Journaling : No
Journaled : No
S.M.A.R.T. Status : Verified
Disk Number : 0
Partition Number : 3

I just need to recover my document files for I believe that they still exist in the ntfs partition. Any advise on this?

What happens when you try to boot the Windows partition? Can we try to help you fix your Windows installation so it can at least boot in safe mode, fix the NTFS, and then you can just open it directly from Finder?

When I tried booting on windows and I all I get is a black screen so I don't have the option to atleast go to "safe mode". I tried to reinstall windows and after the "Checking your systems configuration" prompt, it will again proceed to the black screen.

Any suggestion on how to make the files and folders on this partition readable?

Sure you can recover your documents untill you have not overwritten on you hard disk as the data never deletes permanently. You may try Stellar Phoenix Partition Recovery Software which can recover your ntfs partition and files.gud luck
