I have an old iPhone 4S running iOS 6.0.1, Modem Firmware 04.12.02 and Model MC603C. It is currently with Rogers in Canada and I would like to unlock it so I can put in another sim card in it. I've been doing research and I can't seem to find an exact guide on how to unlock it.

All I found was scam sites that claim to unlock it for a fee and I'd rather do it for free if I could.

Can someone tell me if it's possible at all?

you will need to get an IMEI/carrier unlock (which will costs money)

try contacting Rogers and see if they will help unlock the phone for you

Rogers wants 50$ to do it, I was wondering if previous unlocks still work since I have iOS 6?

Ah that's a shame! :(

So what was ultrasn0w? I thought it did that

What about these paid sites? They're cheaper than 50$ but are they legit?

Just pay Rogers. I guarantee nobody will provide you a working IMEI unlock for a Rogers iPhone 4S for less than that. More likely it'll be $100 for something that works.

Look at the prices for Rogers unlocks on the reputable sites and you'll see they're all way more than $50
