Need Help Updating Apps!!

Ive just bought an iphone 3GS and have managed to download apps from my computer to the phone but when trying to download and update apps from the app store on the actual phone a message saying 'verification required...before you can make purchases you must tap continue to sign in, then verify your payment info'

So i click continue as requested then type in my password to sign in then my payment details come up and i check they are correct and click done and the phone just goes back to the update page and when i press update the same thing happens again and it just takes me round and round the same thing again!!!

Can someone help? its so furstrating!!!!

Sign-in to the iTunes store via your PC/Mac and verify your account/payment settings. Then go back to the phone and everything should work fine.

could you explain how to verify the account as i have never done it before.

Also, on my PC i have 2 iphones registered now, does this effect it? Thanks for your help!
