I have a mac mini from about 2004-2005ish can't remember exactly, but a few years ago my HD crapped out on me. I bought the wrong size drive and gave up on it. It now lays in about 3 pieces with the insides being exposed for years. I know i need to replace the HD and they are cheap enough now, and i might even up the RAM now that I'm going to be rebuilding it entirely. Is there anywhere i can bring it to have it rebuilt if i buy the parts? and have the OS be put on it also? If there is even anyone out here willing to do it i will pay. Thanks

New refurbished mac mini on apple store online is 519 dollars and is much better than the g4. Ebay the parts and get a new one. Rebuilding that will cost too much now adays..

i am upgrading my HD in my macbook to a 750gb hybrid drive and i wanted to take my current macbook drive and install that in my mac mini. I also have my stock ram from my macbook a 1gb stick i can throw in my mac mini. The rebuild is just a matter of getting everything back in the case and running again

if it is a 2005 mac mini you need an ide hdd not a sata hdd. if it is a 2005 mac mini it is not an intel. you are better off selling it on ebay for parts. use the money to get a 2009 or a 2010 mini.
