I have a lady friend that has an iPhone. IDK what model it is as it is stuck on the screen promting the user to plug the USB into iTunes, which I have tried but it doesn't respond.

I have been out of the iPhone loop for a while as I JB'd my iPhone a while ago and haven't had to mess with it, so I forgot many of the basics.

I need to know if I can get past the screen prompting me to plug the USB into iTunes, which I believe is "DFU Mode"

Is there a way to get around DFU Mode and do a restore of the phone or at least get into the device?

I don't believe the SIM card is valid on this device either.

Thanks.
