Need Help With Customize

Hey guys, i need some help. I have a jailbroken 1.1.1 iPhone (downgraded and jailbroken by Jailbreakme.com). For some reason, i cannot change the carrier icon throguh Customize! I have tried numerous time with different icons, restarted the iPhone, and still nothing.
Any suggestions that might help me out are greatly appreciated,

I dunno if this will work on 1.1.1, it works on 1.1.4. Anyways:

Download 'make it mine' from the installer. Set the text to 'Ipod' and then try using customize. Works for me!
