When I download movie and TV show rips in XviD, SVCD, mkv etc... formats how do I burn these files on to DVD? I know on the PC, Nero or any authoring program lets you burn them. I know iDVD or Toast won't let you bc it says it has to be in quicktime format. Can you help me with this please?
Thanks

Sure, you can burn those files on the PC, but then you'd have a non-standard DVD. iDVD and Toast will only burn movie DVDs in the standard MPEG format, like you said; you're probably best off converting these files to MPEG-4 before trying to burn them (QuickTime format is MPEG-4). I don't work with these codecs or use iDVD/Toast, so I can't offer any assistance on performing the conversion.
