Hello,

I never used iCloud photos library.

I want to have it setup on my MacBook and my iPhone and iPad.

what’s the best way to do it?

do I turn it on on my MacBook first? Or turn it on, on all my deviceat the same time?

On which device is the bulk of your Photos library stored? Turn that one on first and let it complete the upload to iCloud Photo Library. Depending on the size of your library and your network speed, this can take many hours, even overnight. Once that's completed, enable on your other devices and be prepared for photos from each devices merging into the shared library in iCloud.

I recommend reading as much as you can in the Apple support articles about how iCloud Photo Library works, and, of course, ask lots of questions here too.

My main photos library is on my macbook.

i guess i will let it upload overnight, then turn icloud photos on my iphone and ipad after.
