Need help with iCloud (UK)

Under setting I have this, note that iCloud is in a light grey shade and I can't click on it! Does anyone know what the problem might me. I can log in to iCloud on the website etc

Have you logged into the app store? try that first and see it it activates!

Yes, Appstore is logged in, on the icloud.com website i can login, has all my contacts etc, but it's greyed out on my iPhone. If it's not sorted may go back to ios4.3 and then update again once Apples sorted everything.
