I’ve put together a slide show with music in iMovie. The plan is to play it on a TV monitor. I have the 2021 iPad Pro, Apple adapter and 4K HDMI cord. I cannot get it to play on the TV no matter what I do. It works with all my subscription services like Netflix, etc. I can do a slide show from Photos album but it won’t play the music.

I can create the iMovie on my iPhone and it plays fine to the TV over HDMI.

What am I missing? Suggestions?

I don’t use iMovie much but i did find this by a search:
Note: Songs that appear dimmed or are marked Unavailable need to be downloaded to your device for use in iMovie. ... If a song on your device still appears unavailable, it may be of a type that can't be used in iMovie. For example, songs protected by digital rights management can't be used in iMovie.

The downloaded songs work and play fine from an iMovie on my iPhone. Just won’t from my new iPad. The iMovie won’t show at all on the TV. ?
