Need help with internal SATA NTFS HD for G5!

Hi guys!

I am the proud owner of a brand new Dual 2.0 G5 PM and couldn't be happier! :D She's up and running and works beautifully, but I have one problem.

I had an internal 200gig SATA drive in my PC (which I just sold to help finance the PM) and wanted to put it in my new PowerMac. I know Mac can't write to NTFS, but it can read from it. I have a LOT of data on my old NTFS drive that I can NOT risk losing so I was hoping I could just hook it up to the PM, copy everything over and then format the drive. I just plugged the drive in but unfortunately my PM won't even read the drive.

I have an external usb NTFS drive that it will read, so I know it will at least read NTFS. Does the drive have to be external for this to happen? Are there external SATA enclosures?

I would REALLY appreciate any and all help on this as I would love to get the data off this drive, reformat and get my new machine running at full capacity.

Yikes. I hope it doesn't come to me spending 70 bucks to get this data off this drive. :(

There's one other thing I meant to mention in my initial post. When OS X loads I get an error window that asks me what I want to do with the drive. My three options are "Initialize", "Ignore" and "Eject". So far I've just been clicking on ignore. I don't want to click on Intialize because that sure sounds like it would begin formatting then. ;)
 
Yeah 70 seems a lot, it was just the first result i found..

Initialize will reformat the drive.
Ignore will leave it unmounted/or OS X will not try to use it.
Eject will of course eject it and you have to power the drive back up for re-recongnition.
