Need help with Itunes, a macbook air and a superdrive....

Hi all,

Hopefully someone can give me a hand here, I have a Macbook Air, with the superdrive external DVD writer. I bought a bunch of Blu-ray discs with digital copies in them. In the past I just loaded the digital copy into the superdrive and Itunes detected it, took me to the code input and within seconds I was able to watch my new movies on my MBA, or transfer to my ipad, etc. However it is not doing that now, itunes does not even see the digital copy disc. I really don't want to have to download these, anyone got any tips?

If the digital copy is on a Blu-ray disc, you can't read it with the Mac drive.

itunes does not even see the digital copy disc.

Sounds like a regular DVD to me, not a Blu-ray. All of the digital copies that that I have seen are just regular DVDs.

Correct, this is the DVD format digital copy disc. Not a Blu-ray.
