Need help with my belkin router on my imac

Ok so i have a belkin surf n300. Ok my mac is connected directly to the router. I have my PS3, ipad and iphone 4 going thru wifi on it. Ocasionally it loses internet connection and than comes back. At first i was thinking something was wrong with my imac but than i was thinking if something was wrong with the mac why would internet go out on my ipad and iphone also. Could it be the router. I called Time Warner and they said evrything was fine on my end and its possibly my router. Any help or suggestions would be welcome. Showuld i get a better router and what kind for my uses. Have you tried connecting your computer directly to your Cable Modem, and seen if you still have the issue. If you do, then it is likely the modem that needs to be replaced, not the router. If you don't, then reset the router to factory defaults, reconfigure it, and see if it continues. If it does, buy a new one. It really doesn't matter which brand, although I would avoid D-Link right now, they are having some major QC issues. You could get an Airport, used off of EBay, or a nice Linksys/Cisco router for a good price.

ok thank you. i did a restore of the routers setting. ill see what that does.
