Hello, I just got the ORICO USB 3.0 card (2 ports) with the Fresco FL 1100 chip, the card was immediately recognized and listed in System Profile, but no device works with it. I read it needs to be powered, but the card came with no cables nor instructions, so I ask some helpful good soul:

-How do I power it?
-Wich cables do I need?

Thank you very much for your help.

I just had my card delivered this morning. Unfortunately like you I have bought the PFU3-202I which requires external power & not a PFU3-2P which does not. Where you get the power from depends on what model Mac pro you have. Mine is a 3,1 so I just need a 4-pin Molex to 4-pin Molex from the spare power connector that's there if you want to fit a second optical drive.

Instructions here. I assume you have SATA optical drive connectors.

If you have IDE optical drive connectors, you only need the fourth cable (molex power extension), and if you are using two optical drives already, a molex power y-cable.
