I'm very new to Mac. Until three days ago Parallels worked on my 10.4.11. Now when I try and start Parallels the screen slightly darkens and tells me to power off. What did I do and how do I fix it. Please help and thanks.

Try to get solution of your problem from Parallels officials! They have nice supporting center and forum. Sure it will help you.
I would be glad to give you an answer but I don't know it. I think you should provide us with more information to get the solution from here.

multi boot with parallels

I have a PM with 4 750Gb Harddrives:

1. Leopard OS
2. Clone of #1
3. WinXP - 32 bit
4. Vista x64

I understand Parallels thus far does not work with 64 bit windows systems

Boot Camp currnetly allows me to boot to either windows system

O.K. -- If I install Parallels, will I still be able to run WinXP as a virtual machine? Will I be able to upgrade the XP virtual machine to Vista relatively painlessly? Without changing anything on the XP drive (#3)?

I have no experience with Parallels. Is VMW Fusion a better choice for my specific situation? I would love to dispense with Windows entirely but have to use some critical apps for work that absolutely do not run under OSX.

Thanks for any advice
