Hi.

I use VoIP as my phone on an old 2015 MacBook Pro with this headset: Logitech H340 USB Headset

A little while ago I just bought a 14" MacBook Pro with M3 Max.

Because there is such a big difference between these two laptops, I am concerned that my VoIP won't work moving forward.

My first concern is getting a phone headset to work with my new Mac.

I am happy with the Logitech H340 USB Headset, but the one I have is USB-A.

Will this adapter allow me to keep using my current headset?

Apple USB-C to USB Adapter

Or do I need something like this...

Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter

Also, in general, should I be able to get my Zoiper5 "softphone" and this headset to work so I can make and receive VoIP phone calls?

Because of my current set up - and $$$ limitations - if I lose my VoIP I am a dead duck.

Am feeling really really nervous about upgrading to a new MacBook Pro.. ;-(

Any USB-C > USB-A adapter should work. Check support for your product -

Again, check support for your "soft phone" product -
