Ok, I was messing around with setting on my Mac Pro, and some where I got into a app. that I messed with and now my desk top is in black and white, I for the life in me I cant find the spot where I made these changes, I'm a newbie with Mac computers.
Thanks in advance.

don't know if this will fix it if it is just the desktop, but if the whole screen is greyscale, go to system prefs>universal access>seeing and uncheck "use greyscale".

Or...

Control-Option-Command-8

Thats does something a bit different, it still has color, it is just white on black instead of black on white. The greyscale is if there is no color at all. Your idea would work if the colors are really weird, but it seems to me that it is just black and White on his screen (but I could be wrong).

The original poster never mentioned grayscale, only black and white, hence, my post.
Mainly because I rarely trust posters to actually post what the full issue is. ;)
