MacRumors has a great programming community that has helped me a ton. To pay it forward, I have offered my services to people who are less experienced than me, though I'm not very far along myself yet. Over time, I have hopefully been able to help quite a few people. But I figured a better way to do this would be to just offer myself to everyone I may be able to help right here. If you want to start mac (or iPhone) development and don't know where to begin/need reassurance that you have a good path set/have no *too* advanced questions, I can help. I was there myself recently enough that it's fresh on my mind, and I can probably relate better than someone who went through it years and years ago and doesn't really remember what it's actually like.

So if you would like what help I can offer, feel free to email me at lipton_lover@mac.com. Also, if anyone else would like to share their email for the purpose of helping beginners, feel free to post it here.

I definitely think this is a nice gesture, but I would much rather people post questions so you and others can answer them publicly so others can benefit.

Well I'm thinking more of the people that are JUST starting who, no offense to them, make a new thread just for themselves instead of just reading the million other ones that were made just that day. At one point after the iPhone SDK came out, some people got really frustrated so I figured that's somewhere I can help.
